Reactions as Wizkid set the internet buzzing with Gucci Snake

Just as fans of the Starboy Record chief and lead artiste, Wizkid, were trying to come over the Fever, he recently created with Mavin Record diva, Tiwa Savage, the music heavyweight again got the internet buzzing with the release of his much talked about single, Gucci Snake during the week.

The new hit, featuring self-proclaimed ‘Otunba Lamba, Slimcase and produced by the duo of North Boi and Killertunes, shortly after its release began trending on social media, as the Socco singer legion of fans rushed to their favourite streaming services and created impressions out of it.

Gist of a collaboration between Wizkid and Slimcase first hit the news in April, with both artistes later confirming the report on different platforms.

However, there was a long delay with the release of the song as Wizkid was putting out a number of other records in preparation for his Made in Lagos project, which is expected before the end of the year.

Wizkid hasn’t dropped an album since his 2017 Sounds From The Other Side, but he has pull through with some hits including the recently released two singles in October, and also hopped on Metro Boomin’s Not All Heroes Wear Capes.

The new project, an African vibe is meshed with Caribbean melodies and hip-hop aesthetic to create a hip-shaking anthem that aims to achieve the same success as other records by singer.
